VIRTUAL POST APOC FITNESS CHALLENGE

Darebee's Age of Pandora Part 1: Awaken, Survive, and Reclaim.

The program has three levels so even absolute beginners can do it..." encounters placed throughout. We will be hiking the trail and using the stations and the roll of the dice to overcome each challenge.

RPG FITNESS QUEST

You are a commoner in the quaint town of Walter, living your days out in relative peace. This morning you are travelling through the Shelley Lake Forest on your way to another fine day of toil. You find yourself daydreaming about how great life would be if you could have a day off now and then...Suddenly you are knocked from your serenity by a loud crashing sound and screaming. You scan the road ahead and around, finding a clearing you don't recall being there before, and occupied by a terrible sight. Will you tremble in fear, tuck tail and head back from whence you came, or will you charge forth to face your destiny?   The quest will take place Shelley Sertoma Park. Shelley Lake Trail is a 2.2 mile loop with fitness encounters placed throughout. We will be hiking the trail and using the stations and the roll of the dice to overcome each challenge.

IRISH STICK FIGHTING AT FORTNIGHT BREWING

The Fighting Irish are not just Notre Dame Alumni! The Sword Conservatory (TSC) is teaming up with the Geek Fit Network and Fortnight Brewing Company to present two workshops on fighting with the shillelagh, an Irish walking stick. The shillelagh was the primary weapon used in Bataireacht -a form of traditional Irish stick fighting popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. 


Learn basic attacks and defenses with this uniquely Irish weapon and then participate in safety bouts with other participants. Watch demonstrations of this style of fighting by TSC instructors as you enjoy a brew. Then lift your glasses in a toast of Erin go Bragh!

FREE VIRTUAL TRIWIZ HIIT

Enter the wizarding world of Harry Potter in a virtual twist of the Triwizard Tournament. "Eternal Glory, that is what awaits the student who wins the Triwizard Tournament, but to do this, that student must survive three tasks, three dangerous tasks." 


This virtual Triwiz session will include 3 sets, consisting of 10 exercises each and two supersets to test every wizard's athletic and magical strength as they prepare for the ultimate wizard tourny!

BELLY DANCE FITNESS

Shimmy into the new year with a Cabaret Fitness Belly Dance Class. This is a beginner belly dance class open to all skill and experience levels. We will break down basic movements and put these moves to various songs. Students should wear comfortable workout clothing. Come learn a new skill and work up a sweat at the same time!

Calling all witches and wizards! The Muggle world got you down (dog)? The school year at Hogwarts School of Yoga and Wizardry is about to be in session. Enter the portal at Barrel Culture Brewing and Blending for Poses and Potions: A Harry Potter-themed yoga experience. Ready your robes and wands as we Wingardium Leviosa your heart rate and your mind in this high energy yoga class! 

Yoga is the ultimate Protego Maxima against the dark arts. Center your magic and vanquish that inner foe. Immerse in the world of Harry Potty with sound and movement. Whether you are a first-year yoga student or a headmaster, there's something enchanting in store for you. This is a fun yoga class for all levels, both wizards and Muggles alike. This class guides you through fundamental yoga postures and connects breath to movement as you witch out and become comfortable in your yoga practice. Under the tutelage of the Grand Sorceress of Zen, prepare for a deep stretch and slow flow to find and connect to your own sorcerer’s stone.

OUTLANDER SWORD

Learn historic Scottish sword fighting at one of the triangle's premiere breweries. Classes are taught by The Sword Conservatory and are open to men, women and children ages 13 and over.  All skill levels are welcome to participate.


Put on your best kilt and come learn the fundamentals of the Highland Broadsword, as taught to the Highland Regiments during the Napoleonic Wars. Travel back to the 18th Century, and learn the fundamentals of Scottish swordsmanship. Sparring will be done with fencing masks, professional grade safety swords, and shields.
